Day 520 – It’s been too long…

Its been a long time since I looked at my 101 in 1001 list and I’m ashamed to say I don’t have much to cross off, but here’s what I’ve managed…

#7 – Get pregnant & have a baby – Ned was born at 4.22pm on 3rd August 2010 - I fell in love instantly
#9 – Sell unwanted items on eBay and make at least £100 – I have quite a few items listed, whether they make £100 remains to be seen but they are at £34 so far with about a week to go, and money we make is Ned’s.
#18 - Go to a pottery painting place and paint an item of crockery – Done! I did quite a few bits for Christmas gifts
#21 – Get an iPhone & Transfer my existing number – Finally sorted!
#22 - Buy Seasons 2 and 3 of Big Love, or download and watch online – Not really relevant now seeing as we have Sky Atlantic HD and they are showing it from the beginning!
#57 - Take the dogs to Durdle Door for a day out – We went as a family, us, Ned and the dogs. I love that place!
#60 – Eat Fish & Chips at the seaside in the UK – From Rick Steins place in Padstow!
#66 - Book a cottage holiday for our little family – Cornwall 2010, our first holiday with the little man

I need to update photos but have managed to cross a few things off! I did a maternity photo shoot, we’ve had the house cleaned, tidied and sorted the garage, and finally got a frame for the nice wedding pic we had printed!

Baby is due next week so hopefully I’ll be able to cross that off soon!! Also been giving (with mum’s help) myself pedicures so getting back on track with that

Might go a bit quiet now for a while if baby arrives but still making sure I cross things off day by day!

Day 296… I’ve been a bit slack

It’s been ages since I updated on here and I’ve kind of lost my mojo if I’m honest.

One more item crossed off as the office has been dejunked. I’ve also caught up with filing and booked the Maternity Photo Shoot for #8, and we went to the pictures again to see SATC 2 so that’s another one for the list.

I’m off on Maternity Leave from the end of this month so going to try and get back into 101 then

Day 253 – It’s been a while!

Okay I’ve been very lax with 101 in 1001 but am pleased to say that despite being AWOL for a few months I have crossed another 4 things off the list..

#24 -Get back in touch with both Liane and Jan in Oz – Liane finally replied to my email and we’re all back in touch

#26 – Thanks to holiday I went from 25th April right to 1st May, so 8 days, without watching Friends! For me this is quite an achievement!

#29 – Knit something beautiful for a friend’s baby – Finished the booties I kniited for my best mate so another thing crossed off!

#42 – Go to bed at the same time as my husband for 7 nights in a row – Am corssing this off now as I can’t actually remember when we didn’t go to bed at the same time to be honest, we’ve got into the habit without realising it!

Looks like I’ll be doing #8 in July with the fabulous Murakami Photography, and baby is due in July for #7. We’re sorting the office this weekend so that’ll be #90 done and then we’ll get the house cleaned in July so #81 can be cleared off. Coming along nicely I think!

I really should sort #15 as we’ve been married over 18 months now so am making this a priority!

Day 175… I seem to have a bump!

Well it looks like now’s the time to update #7 as I’m 16 weeks pregnant! Baby is due on 31/07/10 and so far I’ve been very lucky and not suffered too much with symptoms. We’re so excited!

Also I’ve crossed off #62 – Stay in the Gloucester Suite at Stoke Place again as we went there for Valentines Day over the weekend. It was wonderful! And I can also cross off #78 as I’ve learnt how to make Lasagne thanks to my best mate Monkey Mavis

That’s 27 things completed now so I think I’m well on track!

Day 165 – More updates

So another item crossed off! Not actually because it’s complete, but because we’ve decided it’s not the best idea.

#94 Join husband’s Health Insurance policy and cancel my private policy

Instead I’ve amended my policy and changed things around, but still we’ve taken action so I’m crossing it off the list!

Also we’ve finally sorted all our filing and shredding so are up to date, that’s #84 underway finally

Must do those missing photos today!

Day 160 – Another update

I’ve managed a month of HPAD! I’m so pleased and have another item to cross off the list See the photo page for evidence!

Also I’m underway with knitting a friend some lovely baby booties for #29 and we’ve booked to spend Valentines weekend in the Gloucester Suite at Stoke Place so that’s #62 started too.

I still need to get the last 5 completed photos sorted and need to get into a routine for some of the monthly things, but am still feeling great about 101 in 1001!

Day 130… Finally updating photos!

I’ve finally manged to get more of my 101 photos onto the photo page, 6 more to take and upload but I’m getting there!

One more item crossed off as I’ve really got into taking lots of photos of the dogs since getting the DSLR so I’m happy to now cross that off the list #46 done!

HPAD is going well so by the end of the month I’ll have another thing to cross off hopefully!

Day 114… A New Year

Another item crossed off as we spent some time down in Brigton with friends last weekend, so that’s #64 done

Also I’m 6 days into HPAD so if I can continue for January that’ll be another achievment.

I really need to update my photos, I have 12 to take and add onto the photo page. Must do that tonight!

Day 107… It’s been a while

So I’ve not even looked at my list in 60 days which is quite embarrassing!

BUT on review this evening I’ve realised I’ve actually completed another 9 things from the list despite not checking back which has spurred me on again

I’ve also decided to make a few changes. Instead of reading 10 books from ‘The Big Read’ list I’ve changed this to just 10 non ‘Chick Lit’ type books and will try to find interesting fiction or non fiction classics which appeal. As yet this remains unstarted… In addition I’ve merged a couple of my tabs and tidied the blog up a bit.

So what have I crossed off?

#28 – Get some Uggs – I got a wonderful pair for Christmas and they’re soooo comfy

#41 - Spend a New Year’s Eve at home in the warm with just my husband and the dogs (Well technically this is tomorrow night but we’ve got it all planned!)

#44 – Get a DSLR camera – A wonderful Christmas gift from my parents, I’ll be joining HPAD now from Jan 1st

#51 – Go and see a West End show – 7th Nov 2009 we went to see Dirty Dancing in London

#54 - Visit a Christmas Market – In early Dec we visited Winchester Christmas Market with Claire & Darrell and it really was a wonderful day out. We’ll definitely go back next year.

#71 - Go 30 days without alcohol – This went well

#85 – Install fireplace in the Living Room – So pleased we did this, the house is now so warm and cosy!

#97 – Switch to ‘decaf’ for 7 days – Not sure I’ll switch back to be honest!

#99 - Sort Pet Insurance claims (2/2) – I finally got these sorted! All paid and cheques cashed

I feel quite pleased with what I’ve achieved actually so I’ll definitely start focussing on my list again now, and hopefully get loads done in 2010!

I’ve stopped swimming again so have gone back to the beginning with that one unfortunately, and I still need to update photos for all of the things I’ve crossed off but I’ll get this done soon

Cinema wise, we saw Sherlock Holmes on Sunday this week so that’s 2/10 for #53
